Three Arizona Law Students Selected as 2009 Udall Congressional Interns

Three law students, Torivio Fodder, a member of the Pueblo of Taos; Mica Gilmore, a member of the Navajo Nation; and Sherri Mitchell, a member of the Penobscot Tribe of Maine, are among 13 students who have been selected as 2009 Native American Congressional Interns. This internship program is intended to provide Native Americans and Alaska Natives with an insider's view of the federal government. The Udall Interns will spend 10 weeks in competitive positions in Senate and House offices, committees, Cabinet departments and the White House.
