Human Rights Conference to be Held at College of Law

The Confronting Normative Concepts of Human Rights Conference will be held at Arizona Law, Friday, February 12 - Saturday, February 13. Sponsored by the Rogers Program in Law and Society James E. Rogers College of Law University of Arizona and American Bar Foundation, the conference will examine two central questions:  whether the empirical analysis of human rights treaties has normative implications about what kinds of institutions would be desirable for promoting human rights, and the concepts and methods employed in empirical research on human rights.
