Prof. Braucher Discusses Recent Supreme Court ruling in Hamilton v. LanningOn June 8, 2010, Prof. Braucher was one of the bankruptcy experts who discussed the potential impact of Hamilton v. Lanning, decided by the U.S. Supreme Court on June 7, 2010. The case affirmed a lower court ruling that a bankruptcy court should apply a forward-looking test rather than a mechanical test in determining a debtor’s “projected disposable income.” The media teleconference, sponsored by the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), can be listened to here. For more information about the case, the other speakers, and the ABI, see the announcement here. Posted:06/16/2010 |
