Bacon Immigration Law and Policy Program Hires First Fellow

The Bacon Immigration Law and Policy Program has hired Tomas Lopez, using funding from a private foundation to support a one year fellowship. As a fellow, Mr Lopez will undertake an immigration policy research project, as well as supervise law students in the immigration clinic and other immigration policy projects. He graduated from Yale Law School in 2010, where he was heavily involved with the immigration clinic. He was also an editor for the Yale Law and Policy Review and the Yale Human Rights and Development Law Journal, and on the executive board of the Latino Law Students Association. He spent his summers with Davis Polk and the City of Newark. Mr Lopez will arrive in early August.
