N. Warner Lee & Robert Hirsh Receive Professional Achievement Awards from the Law College Association
On April 16, 2011, the Law College Association presented N. Warner Lee ('65) and Robert Hirsh ('64) Professional Achievement Awards, given to alumni who have attained prominence in their respective fields. Warner Lee is a 1965 graduate of the College of Law, and is a member of Ryley Carlock & Applewhite, a national law firm based in Phoenix. He previously served as a Deputy Maricopa County Attorney, and was the First Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Arizona. In 1974 he was elected Attorney General for the State of Arizona. While in law school, he served as the head freshman basketball coach and was commentator for the U of A basketball radio broadcasts.
Robert Hirsh currently serves as the Pima County Public Defender, where he is widely credited for strengthening the office. Hirsh is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and a Founding Member and former President of Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice.
