This Conference will bring together the Nation’s leading experts on a wide range of fields related to guns, crime and punishment in contemporary American society. The fields include gun violence and gun-oriented policing, gun markets and availability, gun control legislation, civil litigation against gun manufacturers, Second Amendment controversies, and sentencing laws for gun offenders. The participants will be presenting new papers concerning on-going research projects. The conference will be a working conference at which the participants and attendees will workshop the conference papers.
