Constitution, Government and the Law of Arizona
An interdisciplinary survey of Arizona’s constitutional law, governmental organization, and those common law principles peculiar to Arizona and its governance. The course is designed to give students who intend to practice in Arizona an understanding of Arizona history, constitutional principles, and governmental operations, together with statutory and common law unique to Arizona. A few of the specific topics that are addressed include separation of powers, recall, the initiative and referendum processes, and state-tribal relations.
