In a new program developed jointly by the Mexican Foreign Ministry and the James E. Rogers College of Law, Mexican diplomats are learning the foundations of American law from a U.S. law school in order to enhance consular services and strengthen binational relations.

Seven new faculty hires to further enrich the college's intellectual core and animate the impact and importance of law and policy for our students. 

David Marcus and Toni Massaro recently concluded their class, “Presidential Power and Its Limits.”

The new clinic pursues a holistic approach to the use, management and conservation of natural resources and will collaborate on both practical and scholarly projects with the university’s many centers of expertise.

Al-haddad was inspired to focus her career in international development and human rights advocacy after advocating for and assisting newly arrived refugees, asylees, survivors of torture, and overseas in the U.S. Peace Corps program. 

“Unlike any other place, Arizona Law offered a setting that gave me a sense of assurance that I was bound to succeed in my academic and professional endeavors,” says Parsalaw.

“Law, at its core, is about public service, and anyone considering pursuing a legal career, particularly here at Arizona Law, should not underestimate the positive impact that they can have even just as a law student,” says Hammersley.

The exposure Davila has gained to law courses and first-year law school curriculum has reinforced his desire to enter the legal profession.
